“If you are looking for an “off the beaten” track experience in southern Italy - definitely contact Joanna Stonestreet! She has lived in the area for many years, befriending locals who bring their best talents to the table and you will have an amazing culinary experience. She also arranges group wine tastings - where she walks you through the nuances of each wine.
We have done so many trips in and out of Naples with Joanna - all of which exceeded our expectations. And we always learned a lot. We were able to collect some amazing wines before we moved back to the states and Joanna arranges for me to get a 5L tin of my favorite organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil every year. If you can’t tell yet - we love Joanna and think she is amazing. I would take any trip with her at any time, without knowing any of the details - because I know if would be amazing!” Paula B“If you are looking for an “off the beaten” track experience in southern Italy - definitely contact Joanna Stonestreet! “Joanna put together two beautiful days for us: a trip to a local farm where we got to see the animals and learn how they make cheese (and sample... lots of sampling paired with amazing wines) and then headed to a Frantoio for tasting Olive Oil.
Our second day tour was to the Amalfi coast, where we got to see how limoncello is made, meet brothers who make lovely ceramics, eat and meander though Positano.
Everything was perfect, and Joanna has a gift for planning as well as connecting with her clients. She goes out of her way to make sure everyone is comfortable and enjoying themselves.
Her knowledge of local culture is impressive, and she goes above and beyond to accommodate different group preferences and dynamics.
If you have an opportunity to work with Joanna, DON'T PASS IT UP! It will be the highlight of your trip!"

“I’ve been to plenty of wine tastings and traveled so many places, but there is NOTHING better than getting to experience friendship, culture, and family while tasting wine. Every time I went on an adventure with Joanna - because her events are always more than just tastings - I found a deeper appreciation for Italy and for the personal connections I gained. You get so much more than just really great wine… you get community.”

“We've been lucky enough to have Joanna and Daniele plan all of our Italian adventures, and each one has been better than the last.
Our favorite experiences so far have included a private boating trip around the Amalfi coast, horseback riding on the beach with Mount Vesuvius as our backdrop, and a private wine tasting in a romantic cavern.
Joanna's knowledge of Italian wine is truly impressive—she combines her love of Italy with her passion for creating amazing once-in-a-lifetime experiences for her clients. She makes sure that we get to experience everything Italy has to offer, but also makes sure that our entire group feels comfortable and included throughout the trip. Our entire family is taking amazing memories home with us thanks to Joanna and Daniele!”

“Over the span of more than 10 years years now, Joanna has been a life saver for my family and me.
First, with my daughter struggling with addiction. Then in 2019, while beginning a tour of the Amalfi Coast, I fell and fractured my left knee cap. After spending two nights in a Sorrento hospital (public), I was desperate not to have surgery in any public hospital in southern Italy. Joanna was able to recommend a private clinic in Naples, where I had an excellent surgeon, all covered by travel insurance.
Then last year, I decided to return. Joanna found lodging for me, restaurant recommendations, and arranged transportation and a tour of Capri.
Tutto molto bene, molto buono!”

“Joanna has the most interesting wines and wine tours. She is very knowledgeable of the wines and the vineyards and winemakers. Her stories are relevant and fun. I would recommend her tastings and tours to anyone!!” ~Cheryl R
